The eBay Books Board seems to be very slow atm. I'm sure there's many reasons.

I have a HUGE lack of motivation, mostly because I don't know what I'm doing or where this is leading me to.

How are you going finding more stock, Rob? Any luck? Is eem to be finding most of mine at Library Sales these days, do they have many down your way? Where would you like this book thing to go? Ideally, when my youngest starts school I'd like to do something along the lines of Judy, new books on my own site. There's a few logistical problems with that, mainly to do with space, but I still have 3 years to work it out.

Energy is a big part of my lack of motivation. I've ended up with a massive lack of iron and I'm just so tired. I'm being sent for all sorts of tests over the next few weeks and we'll see what's happening.

I've got thousands of books left over from our book fair and we'll be having another one in June if that helps anyone.

I haven't logged in here for a few months and there are 2 new topics since I last visited - this Online Auctions discussion and the Website one. Nice work, Suz.

Kelly I have actually just started adding a few used books to my site - vintage cookbooks like the good old Womens Weekly Original Cookbook and Don Dunstan's cookbook. Both sell well. I've always had used Lonely Planet Guides and other travel books, but they aren't fast sellers.

I aim to please, Judy. It's a pity no-one else has been able to post as yet, but I'm sure it will all work out in the end.

Have you got a cookbook by Fannie Farmer? My sister is looking out for it.

Fannie Farmer ? Kelly sniggers like a 12 year old.

I once sold a Women's Weekly Birthday Cake Book on Ebay for $20, but at auction they go much higher!

Fannie Farmer wrote a couple of very famous, very popular American cookbooks in the late 19th century. I don't have any, Suz, but came really close to buying a damaged copy of the Boston Cooking School cookbook when we were in the US last year. It had a split spine, but I think it might have been a 1st.

Kelly, that AWW Children's Birthday Cake book always does well. I wonder why the AWW doesn't just reprint it. Same with Slow Cooker books at this time of the year. I keep wondering why the AWW doesn't have any as it has such a vast range of other titles.

I wish I'd mentioned it before you left. That might have been the one. She would have been happy to have it if the price was right.

I'll let you know if I ever see another one, Suz. Your sister could also try this website

www.vintagecookbooks.com.au

I sold a book to the woman who runs it a couple of weeks ago. There are actually 4 Fannie Farmer cookbooks on the site at the moment, so your sister might find what she's looking for there.

Nice work with the membership drive, Suz. I reckon membership here will double by the end of the weekend. Is anyone else able to post yet, or is it just us oldies?

I'd let her know, but she's not terribly computer literate and is only just learning about the internet. I'm just keeping an eye out for her. She collects cook books so will be excited with whatever I get her.

Thanks, Judy. I don't know about the posting, I still haven't received any emails. I've worked some magic behind the scenes, but I won't know if it's worked until they either post or complain. It's Saturday night they won't be doing any computer stuff...
